Why SagaSphere?

Welcome to my new SagaSphere! What in the... is a SagaSphere, you ask? It's an "account of person's life", "chronicle of events" or "a form of novel in which the members of a social group are chronicled in a long and leisurely narrative". At least that's according to the experts at Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com after looking up both of the meanings of the words Saga and Sphere.

Can I tell you that ever since I heard the term "Blog" way back around 1999ish I have absolutely hated it. "Blog" sounds like a word that's not finished, like there should be more to it. I also have an aversion to some other words like "chat", "debris", "leverage", "folks" and some others for various reasons but that is another saga. (See, it works.) So with that in mind, I decided that I would single-handedly redirect the web-o-sphere jargon in an underhanded attempt to get people to stop saying and talking about blogs, blogging, blogworthiness, whatever! So, from this day forward I predict people will start to refer to their Sagaspheres. Watch it, it'll catch on. Even if it doesn't then I have coined my own lil' web-o-term that, at the very least, is fun to say and easy to remember.

Another overzealous endevour which I eventually abandoned was my idea of replacing the two most popular social networking web sites with my own, better creation, called MyFace. I also considered SpaceBook but thought they sounded too much like the pioneer networking sites. I ran into some legal issues with that so I decided to let it go for now and rethink my strategy on that one. I'm kidding, of course but a man's gotta have some fun eh?

I hope you will come back and visit occasionally as I plan to blo... err... sagaspeak about many things from some of the interesting people in my life, the great events in which I am lucky to be involved, random musings, pet peeves (I'll try to make them constructive in nature), and anything else that I might find running naked through my cerebellum.

Welcome to the SagaSphere... and please come again!
